One of my favorite spots from campus. This school played a huge role in my growth as a musician and is where I recorded some of my first orchestral scores! 🎵

For this painting I was inspired by the intricate architecture of Royce Hall. The Shapiro Fountain acted as the perfect contrast to the towers - a free-flowing serendipitous water feature to stand out in front of the more precisely measured buildings. It perfectly encapsulates the two building blocks (pun intended) of much of my art: structure & serendipity. Although I probably lean a little more on the serendipitous side.

“UCLA Royce Hall” was painted on a 3/4” thick canvas, with the painting continuing around the edges. The painting arrives unframed.
