Morning Glory - 14x18"
14”x18” Acrylic on Canvas
About a year ago I started taking early morning walks around my neighborhood to help with my chronic health issues. I would spend my walk venting to God my frustrations, and also take in the sights and sounds of the early morning while sipping from a jug of iced tea. I grew to love walking by a neighbor’s house who had a small batch of Morning Glory flowers growing on their fence. The flowers glowed with a translucent blue in the early morning and then turned deep purple later in the afternoon. During the morning, when I was usually in the most pain, these came as bright reminders of God’s promise of a New Creation. Reminders of His love that will soon swallow all pain and sorrow. A promise that can be hard to believe, but is abundantly true.
“Morning Glory” was created on a 3/4” stretched canvas with the edges painted white. Black frame included. The painting arrives in a black modern frame.
