This painting explores the wonder and awe of a child exploring the world, held in safety by a loving father, but encouraged to reach out and explore. This painting harkens back to one of my favorite classic impressionist paintings: Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.”
“Salt and Light” was created on a 1.5” thick stretched canvas, with the painting continuing around the edges of the canvas. The painting arrives unframed with hanging materials installed on the back.
