Walking through the wilderness of Kings Canyon is like being transported back in time. Giant sequoia trees tower overhead like ancient dinosaurs and even the craggy peaks look like rugged dragons with their pointy spires. I like to imagine sharing this space with the ancient creatures that roamed the earth long ago, preferably from a safe distance.
