For this piece I imagined my ideal space to relax, a place of rest and refuge. I also wanted to capture the bright lighting of the early morning, which is my favorite time of day. I was inspired by some of the alpine lakes I’ve seen here in California, Oregon, and Banff. I decided to combine them all together into this one epic piece!

“Lakeside Cottage” is painted on a 1.5” thick canvas, with the painting continuing around the edges. It arrives unframed.
