This painting was inspired by an early morning hike in Yosemite National Park. The golden light blazed through the trees and over the waterfall in a dazzling display of light and color. The water that poured over the edge of the granite cliff was liquid gold in the early morning sunshine. A feeling of both peace and excitement swept over me as I witnessed the scene and I knew I had to put it on the canvas.

"Yosemite Falls" was created on a 1.5" thick canvas, with the painting continuing around the edges. It arrives unframed. Hanging materials attached.
