The Sierra Nevada mountain range boasts grand vistas and intimate pine forests. For this painting I was inspired by the combination of the lush vegetation around the Big Pine North Fork Creek with the bright California sunlight.

“Boreal Oasis” was created on a 3/4” thick stretched canvas, with the edges painted black. The painting arrives in a black wooden modern frame.
